Status/plans
Current mobile solution
We have integrated mobile module checked in to trunk
- Currently doesn't run on trunk (runs on 2.0.4?/india)
- Missing documentation
- Sap only developer, busy on hospital
- More than one person needs to be able to setup server/build clients (Bjørnar, Jo?)
- Needs to be ported to trunk
Mobile team
- Sap is mobile team, not good
- MobiHealth project has resources for developers
- Plan to hire two developers in Vietnam
xforms based solution
- NBITS needs it... a bit unclear just why
- Needs it "as soon as possible", "soon".
- When pressed, vague answers... (my guess)... Sep. 1.
- xforms solution should be able to replace current solution
- xform will require more memory than current:
- might require smaller forms for current deployments
Resources available: None
- Sap realistically has no time (hospital)
- India has no resources
- New developers will be no help initially (If deadline is factual)
- India needs to come up with better/realistic requirements
- Need to evaluate if/to what extent Sap/Jo/Abyot/? can contribute
Gambia
Bjørnar is going to Gambia to implement mobile pilot
- Missing mobile app, don't know how to make it
- Missing mobile component on server
- Has bought modem (Ime's recommedation) - expensive, untested
Saptarshi needs to help him, but leaves today..
